This is a roleplaying game in this forum. You post your actions and I respond! You make a character and try to stop the evil king, played by me. I am the gamemaster and I can have monsters attack! Be wary and save the world of Litenia!

So the idea is:

You make a character.
They have one goal: stop evil with as much gain for the kingdom and themselves while doing it.
They need to get from their tiny village at the edge of the map to the Evil King Harry's castle at the other edge.

You can, in general, be a:
Wizard, Warrior, Archer, Thief
Do not "godmod" (be unrealistically powerful, like shooting swords that glow and eat stuff out of your wrists).

Oh, and yes, at the end of every dungeon is a puzzle! (It is math related. I will post hints if they are needed.)
And also, the people who defeat Harry will become co-kings/queens!

I will start at a basic level 0, no weapon, no skill, no attacks.

my character's name is Mathius. Mathius, age 24, was a victim to the evil king's fog that has come through and swiped the children from his village. Mathius has taken a vow to his village that he will save the children and destroy the evil that lurks. He leaves his hubble with only a bent spoon, a days ration of apple, and a half full sack of water. He knows not this path, but knows that the elders have embarked upon a path many years ago. His first quest is to find an elder...

As Mathius leaves his village, a strange shadow that reminds him of the villager Lei appears...!

Spoon/Run/Bag/Locked-pet

Oh, since you're interested, here are some advanced rules!
1. Your character can start from level 0-5.
2. You have 4 battle options: weapon, run, bag, pet. You can ALWAYS use weapon, run, and bag, but for a pet, you need a pet. To get a pet, you have to catch it.
PET CATCHING:
In Equal Town, Home Town, or Route stores are things called Pet Sticks. They are 20 Gold a stick and simply, to get a pet, pick a monster to fight and throw a Pet Stick at it. It will be stored in the stick 50% of the time and you can summon it. You may have 3 pets at a time.

3.Battles: These are simple RPG battles. Each monster has 3 attacks. Your character may learn a special skill. With pets, I will reveal their attacks when caught. You can use their attacks when they are pets.

4.Dungeons: In Equal Town, Dark Fortress, and the Evil Forest are dungeons. To reach the castle, you must get to the tablets in them and place them on the pedestal in front of my castle. The barrier will dissipate and you can enter when all 3 tablets are on the pedestal.

5.Metagaming: This is your character knowing anything from Advance Rule 4.

6.Bestiary: A list of monsters is in the Dark Fortress. I will list all monsters when it is obtained.

7.Special battle skills: You can choose a battle skill when you have killed 2 monsters and reached Level 2. They are: -Sing -Spy -Mirror.
Also, the basic options are BASIC. You can choose -weapon- and throw it behind your enemy so it ricochets off the wall and knocks it unconscious.

8.Levels: Defeating a monster levels you up 1. I am level 60. At Level 0, you have 10 hp. You get +3 hp for gaining a level. You also become stronger. Level 70 gives you the rank "psuedo-godmodder".

Note that your character knows nothing of Rule 4 until they finish Equal Town Cathedral Dungeon and stop the ???.

The bestiary is posted!
All heroes start with the Bestiary Book. It is a monster list.

ORK CLASS:

Ork: a hairy corpse with a fragment of Lei's deceased, controlled soul inside. ATKS: knit brow: nothing, do nothing, punch : low dmg

Strong Ork: A strong ork that is general. ATKS: punch: low dmg, knit brow: none, give you a poison balogne sandwich: psn

INFECTED CLASS:
Infectoid: a man who is infected and confused. ATKS: slash: low dmg, infected breath: infect

Zomboid: a man who was killed by the infection. ATKS: rip: med dmg, zombifying roar: infect

CREEPY CLASS:
Mindless Minion: a dazed and controlled man. ATKS: slam: low damage, stare: sleep/cntrl

Hooded Wizard: a dark, mind controlling wizard. ATKS: pendulum swing: cntrl, magic bolt: med damage

Sleeping Monkey: a sleeping, hypnotized monkey. ATKS: Ooh ooh: nothing, monkey slam: med dmg, wake up: end battle

BOSS CLASS
King Zomboid: the mayor of Equal Town, zombified.

King Ork: the Ork King. He is strong.

Hypnosaur: an evil snake with hypnotic eyes. Looking into his eyes causes you to fall under his dark control.

Evil King Harry Delvin: a dark, corrupted warrior from another land.


These are the status ailments. They wear off 3 posts after the battle. (Or, in CNTRL's case, 3 of my posts.)

PSN: you are inflicted with 5hp dmg every post. Only inflicted by Strong + King Orks.
SLP: you may do nothing. Any posts you make on BOH will be disregarded. Inflicted by Creepy Class.
INFECT: you are sick and cannot access bag, skill, or pet. Inflicted by Infected Class.
CNTRL: I get to control your character for a while. Inflicted by Creepy Class.

Spoon/Run/Bag/Locked-pet

Mathius wants to charge this Orc for his arrogance at even trying to stop him while on his quest... but as he takes a step towards the orc, he realizes that he will be unable to pass this orc with force.

Mathius pauses and thinks for what seems to be an eternity. He studies that the orc is interested in the light reflecting off his spoon which is exposed on his sachel. Mathius taunts the orc by waving the spoon. The orc seems mesmorized, Mathius quickly throws the spoon over the orcs head into the bushes, the Orc quickly persues the spoon into the bush. Mathius knew this was his only hope at avoiding the orc's confrontation.

Mathius quickly runs past the orc without him knowing he had even past as his orcness is unable to reach the spoon. Mathius looks back as he is up the path and see's that the orc has lifted the bush from the ground out of frustration and is now panting heavily as he finally has the spoon.

Harry looks into his crystal ball and is frustrated at Mathius's escape. He sees another hero, Humey, beginning his quest, and sends a hooded wizard to Humey. The wizard is weakened by the journey, however, and is now a mindless minion!!!1!

That's kinda what we call godmodding. You can't be taller than a 13-year-old *cough*Zach*cough* and yet be 5 years old unless you have a REALLY good reason. And you must have invented mountain dew, then, because this is a medieval setting. The rest is adequate, though.

"A wizard huh?" Mathius looks intrigued by the fact that he has no mole on his face "arn't you supposed to be ugly?"

The wizard slyly states that his magic is skin deep and no mole dare challenge his skill as he chuckles.

young and naive, Mathius accepts that this wizard is no harm to him and shares an apple with the wizard as he walks down the path en route to an elder. The Wizard declines stating "wizards need not food for such petty journeys :cough cough:"

Later, the wizard explains the fate of the Elders to Mathius.
"The Elders were destroyed by Harry Delvin. However, their essence was re-channeled into 3 stone tablets.
These tablets, when placed upon the pedestal to Harry's Castle, will cause the Elders to re-form and open the forcefield protecting the castle to allow a hero in."

As the wizard explains, he keeps his hand in his pocket, and Mathius notices something shiny in there...
(Mr. S, please do not mess with the thing in his pocket, also a plot device...)

Meanwhile...

Infectoid collapsed into dust!
D-ROCK gained 1 lvl!

Mathius is staring at the shiny object in the wizards pocket... He is mesmorized by its glare, but before he is able to ask about it a coughing is heard up the trail

The wizard, "It appears as if a dead man is walking"

Mathius, "dead man?" uncertain of the man ahead he shouts out to the man, "That is close enough"

the wizard encourages Mathius to proceed towards the man and offer him an apple.

Ignoring his instincts, Mathius listens to the wizard and walks to greet the sickly man...

Oh no! A wild ZOMBOID appeared!

ZOMBOID LVL ???->

MATHIUS LVL 1->

Puuunch!/bag/run/locked pet

ugg a zomboid!

MATHIUS used BAG!
MATHIUS threw an APPLE!
ZOMBOID greedily ate it!

Mathius asked the man where he was infected, eager to learn how to stop it.

"It was coming out of the Equal Town Dungeon, icky and moldy and deadly."
The wizard noted that apples could cure the disease, and took one of the ones off the trees and gave it to D-Rock.

D-ROCK was CURED!

(I choose Mirror as my skill to learn)

"I always knew dungeon's were the breeding place of filty and disease" murmered Mathius as he reaches down to pick up a faintly peculiar stone that had a slight shimmer in the sunlight.

"Is that a golden coin?" asked the Wizard

Mathius inquisitively says "It appears to be a pre-evil minting"

"One best be careful with where that is kept, wouldn't want to have a coin like that come up missing now would we?" says the wizard in a tone of voice that implies dishonesty

Mathius holds the coin in his hand, clenched as to not lose it.

Mathius sits down on a log, and sees Equal Town in the distance.

The Wizard then pulled out a wand and the shiny thing and approached Mathius and D-Rock dangerously...!

Your "friend" HOODED WIZARD appeared!

Hooded Wizard LVL infinity->

Mathius-> D-Rock->

The WIZARD has a surprise attack!

WIZARD used "SHINY OBJECT"!

It missed MATHIUS!
D-ROCK lost CNTRL!

(Mathius shouts "What? NOOO!" as D-Rock nears him, drawing his sword...)

Mathius used COIN!
WIZARD began to disappear!

The wizard said, with an evil laugh,

"Ha ha, you are too late. D-Rock has joined Harry, and my work is done."
The wizard shouts to the sky, "Harry! You have a knight! And his carbonated drink recipe!"

Mathius runs toward the so far unspoken D-Rock, now under Harry's meager control, in order to snap him out of it.

A controlled MYSTERIOUS KNIGHT appeared!
MYSTERIOUS KNIGHT used PUSH!
MATHIUS fell to the ground and lost 3hp!
MATHIUS has 13 hp left!

TO BE CONTINUED!

"ouch" what was that for?

MATHIUS jumped at MYSTERIOUS KNIGHT!
MYSTERIOUS KNIGHT got a concussion!
MYSTERIOUS KNIGHT got his self-CNTRL back!

So...

Mathius looked at the spot where the wizard was, and...
MATHIUS found 5 CAPTURE STICKS!
MATHIUS found a SHINY THING!

Mathius suddenly saw a sign saying "Equal Town 20 yards away."
He grabbed the groggy D-Rock by his shirt collar and dragged him toward the town...

Meanwhile...

Harry stands, angry at the heroes' triumph, when he sees through his crystal ball, that Humey had stopped the Mindless Minion and finally left Mehyu Town.
Humey continued onward without seeing enemies until he reached the outskirts of Equal Town...

Chapter 1, THE PATH OF DESTINY, is OVER!

SUMMARY:
D-Rock met Mathius.
Mathius learned many things of lore.
The wizard appeared and nearly won a fight.
D-Rock contracted and recovered from infection and control.
Humey has killed a MINDLESS MINION, left his town at last and is at the outskirts of Equal Town.
Mathius and D-Rock have reached Equal Town.

humey goes to the hotel to find out whats going on the manager told him humey quickly ran trying to get to the cathederal he runs into some zomies quickly jumps behind the building that is next to him the zombies eventually walk away and he makes it to the cathederal then made it into the dungeon

As Mathius is standing in Equaltown's center market, he looks around for a place to rest his feet and possibly take a bath.... his encounters have left his scent equal to that of a hog. He notices a letter that has fallen to the ground inthe town center.. he picks it up, but is unable to read so knows not that the message contains important information

Suddenly, a dying man approached him...!
A ZOMBOID appeared!
ZOMBOID LVL 4->

MATHIUS LVL 3->

ZOMBOID used KNOCKOFF!
It's not very effective...
MATHIUS dropped his APPLES!

Syd looks through the windows of her home. Equal Town is barren and near-deserted.
Her father sees her.
"Syd, I know you want to help. But we can't do anything..."
Suddenly, a
WILD ZOMBOID appeared!
It dragged her father away, into the dungeon...
And Syd saw someone.
A man (Mathius) was being attacked by a Zomboid!
Syd decided to help and dashed out the door!

as mathius trys to get away i wip out my wand and cast a spell that makes the zomboid turn to dust, Then i run over to mathius and give him som ewater and heal his wounds.

(Nice one!)
Harry looks into his crystal ball of crystalness and sees that Syd has begun her journey... he decides to send a minion to annihilate Mathius and Syd!

Syd and Mathius encountered a Hooded Stranger and its cohorts!
Hooded Stranger-> Mindless Minion->
Bag/wand or PUUUUNCH!/pet/run

Mathius, owing Syd for saving his life, decides to stand guard and reach into his bag.



:looks to syd to make sure she hasn't run:

We will not be pushed around anymore you ruthless minions

While Mathius and Syd were stalling, the Mindless Minion lunged at Syd!
Also, the stranger used PENDULUM SWING on MATHIUS!
MATHIUS fell asleep!
Syd's options:
bag/wand/run/cure MATHIUS

MEANWHILE...
Humey entered the dungeon, brave but scared inside.
Inside, he found a dungeon map behind a spiderweb!
(Dungeon play is a little different. I give you the map and a few options, and you MUST pick one of the options. You must wait and see what danger lurks ahead!)

HUMEY's OPTIONS:
-search for treasure
-Go left
-Go forward
-Go right
-Search for traps(You can do this, but there are no traps. It is waste of time.)

As mathius falls to his sleep Syd grabs her bag and whips out a stone apple and throws it at the minion and stranger nocking them out. Then I heal mathius with my wand and we run.

The two of you slam into the side of the cathedral,and Mathius realizes he's left D-Rock.
"No!"
Mathius explains the entire story to Syd, and they enter the dungeon. Syd, eager for adventure, accidentally runs straight into Humey.

(Hahahahahahahahaha mr sickmond)

Does this mean me and mathius are going to rescue d rock?

Syd agrees to the challenge
But before they leave they befriend humey and he joins the team to help save our friend and universe.
They leave in a hurry

They see the Zomboids chatting in their Zom-Speak overtop of D-Rock's unconcious body.
Syd knows this because she has lived in a zombie-filled town.
Gluurrg.
"What'll we do with him?"
Smuuug.
"Give him to Harry?"
Glo, glo, go!
"No no no!"
Smets shlite shiiiiiiim.
"Let's bite him".
The three heroes run toward D-Rock to save him!

Mathius trips over a jagged stone in the path and falls :ouch: as he scrapes his knee. Syd's face begins to glow,

Humey runs and hides behind a bush



A magical ferry floats up in a halo of brilliance and begins to speak to Mathius

"Thank you for freeing me, i have been trapped under that magical rock for many years until you have come and free'd me! I wish to bless you with my magical power, is there any gift in which you would choose to recieve?"



Mathius thinks about it



Syd is wishing she had fluttering wings (at least that is what Mathius interpreted from the look on her face as she was eyeing the ferry)

Mathius says "can you join us on our journey to defeat the evil that is in the land until I can decide as to what my gift should be?"
